Last weekend I visited J. Crew after a long hiatus (for me) to check out what was new. I tried on several tops, and among them this Striped Peasant Top (size S, vivid flame ivory). I liked the fabric, which is a cotton & linen mix. It was light, without being see-through.

Fatigue Shirt (size 6, dark driftwood) was a favourite in the store. It is all cotton and comes in two additional colours as well.
Lace T-shirt (size M, navy heritage green) was also a favourite. I think it looks nice with a light-coloured bottom like the Frayed Denim Pencil Skirt in White I got earlier this summer.
I already have the Classic Popover Shirt in Striped Cotton Gauze (size 6) in the sundrenched pool colour, but was contemplating the vibrant red this time.

And my favourite piece for last, the Tie-neck Top in Shirting Stripe (size 4, indigo white). Unfortunately, size 4 is too tight across my chest, so I would size up at least one size. The fabric is the gorgeous cotton/silk mix J. Crew is known for.
That's about it for now. I can't wait to hit the store again, probably this weekend, to see the new arrivals. They are already posted on the website, so I will have to pick my favourites soon.
Hope you are all having a great summer, and thanks for stopping by!
