J. Crew - April (III)

I think this has to have been my longest absence from blogging yet. I managed to dodge colds and the flu all winter long, only to be hit by the flu last week. Today I managed a trip downtown to meet up with a friend, and together we hit JC. I looked at a few pairs of pants, some of which I have trie on before. One such pair was the Martie Pants again. I tried these on before back in March, but this time I felt like trying on a spring colour, so 'aztec rust' size 4 it was. The tee is the Embroidered Linen Lace Tee (size S, heather grey ivory) and fits large on me, even though this is my regular tee size at JC. As the name implies, it is all linen and has an embroidery on the shoulders and sleeves. This tee comes in four (4) other colours as well.

Next were the Falling Pansies Pants (size 2, rusty clay multi). This is the smallest of the two pant sizes I wear at J. Crew. They are all poly, so wrinkle resistant, and would be a fun pair to wear during the summer. The back of the waist band is elastic and there are two size pockets as well as two back ones. The top is the Collarless Short-Sleeve Popover (size S, white), which seems to be sold out on the website right now. The store had plenty, however, so ask a VPS to find one for you. I was happy to find out this top was not see-through and that it fitted quite nicely on. It's all cotton and machine washable.

Embroidered Herringbone Tee (size S, pale petal azalea) is a cute cotton with poly embroidery tee. There are three other colour ways, but this pink combo was my favourite. The pants were the Slim Cargo Pants (size 4, coal grey), and I tried them also back in March. This time they were on sale, and another 40% applied, so they were a great deal.

That's about it for now, but I have a few more photos for later this week. What else I am liking at JC  right now:
How about you? What did you like lately at JC? Please share!

Hope your weekend was a great one, and have a safe Monday out there!

  2. The herringbone tee caught my eye, too, the pink is particularly pretty.
I've got the sleeveless popover on my wishlist. Disappointed that it's excluded for the promo. I'll just patiently wait, especially since I'm not sure about the sizing - regular? petite? size up, down? So many options.
    Thanks for the reviews!!
