Anthropologie - December

I have had these Anthro photos for a couple of weeks now, and dedcied I should post them while they are still relevant. I have also posted a few of my favourite Anthro ornaments here.

The Ruffled Wool Sweater Coat (size S, 'plum') looked and pretty and cozy. On my monitor, the 'plum' looks more red than it is in real life. The skirt is the Feathered Wool Pencil Skirt size 4. The skirt is also very cozy, as it is a wool blend. It fits TTS and size hits me about one inch above the knee. (I am 5'6", for reference).

To keep with the feathered theme, here's the Feathered Boucle Top (size S, 'black'). The boucle has black sequins through them, while the bottom is trimmed with feathers. It's an evening piece and it also fits TTS. If you like the feather trim, check also the Feathered Fringe Blouse.

Another pretty top, the  Leighton Velvet Buttondown size S. Usually I take size S in tops, but with this one I would sie up to a M because the buttons kept coming undone. The bulge on my right side of the waist is the antitheft tag. :)

Lastly, a fun sweater, the Feathered Scroll Pullover (size S). I liked the colours and the rose pattern. The 'feathered' yarn feels nice against the skin.

What else I liked at Anthro:
What about you? Have you been to Anthro lately? What did you think?

Hope you had a great week, and have an even greater weekend, everyone!

Outfit of the Day

This is the outfit I wore to wok today and my boss insisted on taking a photo of it. I figure I might as well share it here as well then. The only new item I am wearing is the Asymmetrical Zip Pencil Skirt (size 4, 'ivory'). The coat is the Double-Cloth Envelope from J. Crew from a few years back and you may have seen it here before.

J. Crew - December (II)

I have a few more photos from my most recent trips to JC to share with my readers. First off, I wanted to share th emost exciting piece for me. It's not new, but I love it and hope to add it to my closet this winter. I am talking about the Long Belted Down Puffer (size M., 'black'). It also comes in two other colours. I am 5'6" and the length runs about 2 inches above the knee. Usually I take size S in most coats, but the shoulders on this one seemed narrow, so I sized up. The coat is lighter in comparison to the Mexx one I bought a few years back.

The other jacket I thought was cute was the Lightweight Puffer Jacket (size M, 'ivory'). I sized up again for the same reason as above. The jacket is all nylon, so not as warm.

Classic Silk Blouse in Key Print size 4. This is my usual blouse size at JC. The print is adorable.

Lastly, the Flannel Chirt in Buffalo Check (size 4, 'electric red'). Fits the same as the other JC shirts. The flannel feels really soft and cozy against the skin.

Code JINGLE will get you 40% off sale items and 30% off regular price items through December 18. Are you planning on getting something this sale? If so, please share!

Thanks for dropping in, and have a safe Tuesday out there!
