C. Wonder New Arrivals Picks

Late last week I received an e-mail from C. Wonder regarding some new sweater arrivals, so I popped over there to have a look at what else was new. First off, the Suede Uptown Tote got my attention. It looks realy well made and would go perfectly with the booties in the photo below.

The booties that I mentioned above are the  Pointed Toe Mixed Ankle Booties. These come in three different colours; 'black,' 'navy' and 'charcoal' and I like them all!

Vests seem to be in this season, and the Faux Fur one from C. Wonder looks beautiful. I wish I were closer to one of the stores to try this one on.

Double-Face Reversible Wrap Coat looks great also. I loved the darker grey side, which is my favourite grey, as I have mentioned on many occasions.

Dapper Dog Intarsia Sweater. Seems animal sweaters are here to stay. :)

And lastly, these cute Heart Print Smoking Slippers. They are made of calf hair on the upper protion, memory foam insole and rubber sole and they look very comfy.

Have you checked C. Wonder lately? What did you like? Please share!

Hope your week was off to a good start, and have a happy Tuesday, everyone!

Gap - September

As I mentioned in my previous Gap post, I have a few more photos from my lates trip at the Gap. I found quite a few new arrivals I loved. Among them, this Contrast-Panel Sweater Tunic (size S, 'vintage navy'). This sweater fits TTS. The navy portion is a larger gauge knit and cotton, while the panel is a smaller gauge and wool. I really liked this sweater a lot, and with the current 35% off promo is a good deal. The white marks are on the mirror.

Next was the Long Cardigan (size S, 'navy). I loved the thickness and the length of this sweater. It will look good with my Pixie Pants in the similar colour.

Another plaid item I forgot about in the previous post (which was all about plaid at the Gap), the Plaid Shirtdress (size S). It looked much cuter in real life than on the website, and I loved it styled with the yellow belt (and which I cannot find on the website).

Lastly, the Pointelle Henley (size S, 'deep sailor blue'). This wa smy favourite colour, but it also comes in four others as well.

What else I'm liking at the Gap:

How about you? Have you visited the Gap lately? Please share!

Have a great weekend! I think our summer is finally coming to an end. Today I got soaked while walking my pooch at lunchtime.

J. Crew - September (III)

As promised, here are the rest of the photos from my last JC trip. As promised, the Dannie Pants (size 6, 'navy') fit small and I sized up in them. I was curious about them and I think they fit similarly to the twill Minnies, but with the zipper at the back instead. The top is the Silk-Front Tank in Polka Dot (size S). I was surprised by how cute this top was in real life. I a trying on my usual top size small here.

Silk-Cutout Tee (size S, 'black'). I didn't see the 'vintage merlot', which was one of my favourites from the new arrivals, but the 'black' is pretty as well. The body of the tee is cotton, while the sheer trim is silk.

Stitched Sunburst Skirt in Stripe (size 6). I couldn't find size 4, so I tried this one instead. The skirt is all polly, all lined. It hits me just above the knee at 5'6".

Lastly, the Asymmetrical Zip Sweater (size S, 'bittersweet chocolate'). I didn't pay ,uch attention to this when it first appeared on the website, but I loved it when I saw it in the store. The colour is a gorgeous, rich brown, which I loved.

Here's what else I like at JC right now:

How about you? Which one's are your favourites? Please share.

Code SHOPFORFALL will give you 25% off full price items and an additional 30% off sale items through September 24. Are you shopping for fall yet? I know I am not yet. Yesterday, for example, we still had 29 degrees C up here, even though mornings and evenings are a bit chilly. So far it's been the warmest summer I have experienced around these parts, as far as I can remember.
